Choosing The Right E-Liquid For Your Needs *Guest Blog*

E-liquid is basically the blend of substances used in vapor products like e-cigarettes. They typically contain propylene glycol, glycerin, water, nicotine, and some flavorings. While the ingredients may vary, the liquid typically contains about 95% of propylene glycol and glycerin. If  atomizer is the brain of an e-cigarette and the battery is it’s heart, then e-liquid is it’s soul.

If you have the perfect e-cigarette, but the bottle of the e-liquid that originally came with it is now empty, you can easily choose the right e-liquid for your needs using the following ways:

Firstly, keep in mind about the flavor of the e-juices you want to use. Flavor should be considered the primary factor when it comes to choosing the right e-liquid for yourself. Always test and try various kinds of flavors and choose the one which you like the most. You may never use the e-liquid which does not have a flavour of your preference.

You should be more adventurous and should try out various fruit or food blended flavours. You can find a lot of food flavors such as wafer, cake, or pizza, and also the fruity flavours like grape, watermelon, or mango. There are also mixed blended flavours, in which various fruit, food, and tobacco flavors are mixed together to create new and exotic flavors. Beer, brandy, and wine are also some of the alcohol-inspired flavors available.

When choosing the e-liquid flavors, you should always start with the ones which you’re pretty sure you’ll like and once you have a good stock of those, you can start experimenting with other flavors as well.

After choosing the flavour, the next thing to consider is nicotine. You have to determine the strength of nicotine which you personally prefer.

Nicotine levels come in various strengths. Low level nicotine is generally of 6 mg and below. It is preferred for light smokers who go through half a pack or less per day. Medium level is of 9 mg to 16 mg and is for average smokers who consume half to one pack a day. High level is of  18 mg to 36 mg and is suitable for heavy chain smokers.

Getting the right nicotine strength is important because too little of it will make you vape more to compensate, and too much of it may give you headaches. A good suggestion is to start with medium strength and then adjust accordingly.

Propylene Glycol (PG) and Vegetable Glycerol (VG) are the two main base solutions in e-liquid. Sometimes a combination of both is also used to formulate the . PG provides more flavor, but also produces weak vapor. VG is more glutinous and is slightly sweet in taste.

Because of the differences in the vape qualities of both, manufacturers produce e-liquid that comes in a complete PG base, a complete VG base, or a mixture of the two in different ratios. The most common PG to VG ratio is 40:60, and users are usually satisfied with the flavor and the amount of vapor this mix produces.

However, there are few people who are allergic to PG. If you suffer from itching, getting hives, or having a hard time breathing after vaping on a pure PG,or a PG and VG mix, you might need to obtain pure VG blends or at least, and e-liquid having  a mix ratio of 80% of VG and only 20% of PG.

It may take time before you’ll be able to completely find the flavors and are able to correctly observe the nicotine strength, and PG/VG ratio that works best for you. Don’t just settle for what’s instantly available. Trying out new things is definitely fun, so don’t be afraid checking out the other brands as well. But always be sure about buying the highest quality liquid from established manufacturers. Don’t just buy cheap stuff in order to save money. This will definitely cost you even more in the long run.

All it takes is a little research and experimentation to be an experienced customer in finding that perfect e-liquid you need.
